The first thing you need to do is choose which lot or lots you wish to reserve/purchase by looking on the colored map or the actual development survey.

Fill Out The Lot Reservation/Purchase Form

Information Is Forwarded to Lawyer/Paralegal
The next step is for the lawyer/paralegal to conduct a title search to make sure the titles are free and clear without any encumberances or liens. Once that’s done, he/she will prepare the legal transfer documents for signing, including and financing/mortgage documents.

Transfer Documents are Signed and Final Payment is Made
Once the lawyer/Paralegal has prepared the transfer documents then they are signed in front of a Notary Public or Justice of the Peach in Belize. Then any outstanding payments would be made by the purchaser followed by the transfer documents being Registered and Lodged at the Belize Lands Department in Belmopan.

The Lot is Now Legally Yours
Once the documents have been Registered and Lodged at the Lands Department, the land becomes the legal possession of the purchaser. It usually takes the Lands Department about 6 months to issue the new titles, however the new owner is free to do as they please with their new land.
